We’re headed to Channel Islands Harbor to complete our “Sea Trials” with Maramu (soon to be re-named Cerulean).
Here is a photo of Erika looking at the grey skies and 3ft seas – not the ideal day to take a vessel out and hoist her sails, but this will be a great test of the Amel 48’s sea handling.
After a few hours at sea and testing both the main, and mizzen – we headed back to the harbor. Both Erika and I we’re thoroughly impressed with Maramu’s ability to handle non-ideal weather.
More updates to come! The dream is happening folks – we’re getting the vessel of our dreams, capable of handling the worlds oceans.
